Here are the questions we get asked most. If yours is not here, just fill in the form above.
My child has never played football before — can they still join? ▾
Yes, absolutely. We welcome players of all abilities at every age group. Our younger teams in particular are full of children who are just starting out. All we ask is that they want to give it a go and enjoy themselves.
Can girls join? ▾
Yes. We run mixed teams across all age groups and also have dedicated girls sessions. We have a Girls Fun and Friendly Football session for ages 5 to 11. Get in touch and we will point you in the right direction.
How much does it cost? ▾
We keep our fees among the lowest in Surrey. There is an annual sign-on fee which covers referees, equipment and pitch hire, plus monthly training subs. Sibling discounts are available. Contact us for current fee details as these are reviewed each season.
When does the season start and end? ▾
The season typically runs from September through to May, with matches on Sunday mornings in the Surrey Youth League. We also run end-of-season tournaments and an annual Presentation Day in June to celebrate the players.
Do you do trials? ▾
We do not run formal trials. We invite new players to come along to a training session so the coach can see where they fit best. There is no pressure and no commitment required for a first session.
What age groups do you have? ▾
We have teams from Under 7s (Year 2) up to Under 18s for the 2026/27 season. That covers children born roughly between 2008 and 2020. If you are unsure which age group your child falls into, just get in touch and we will work it out for you.
Are your coaches qualified? ▾
Yes. All our coaches hold a minimum of FA Level 1 coaching certification, are DBS checked and have a current First Aid qualification. Several of our coaches hold higher qualifications up to UEFA B level. Every coach also holds the FA Safeguarding Children certificate.
What does my child need to bring? ▾
Football boots (astro turf or firm ground), shin pads, a water bottle and a positive attitude. For matchdays, kit is provided. For training sessions, any sports kit is fine until they are registered and kitted out.
